Who Is This System For?

socialsalerep isn't good

No one! It’s an old platform with a lousy way to make money online. Yes, social media still works to make affiliate sales, but not this way.

Unless you already have a business with many loyal followers, this simply won’t work.

And for that matter, if you already have a business, why would you even want this platform, lol.

If you want to make affiliate sales with Clickbank or JVZoo, you’re better off going directly to their platform and taking the free training they offer!

How Does It Work?

socialsalesrep is for marketing on social media

This product has been out for 3 years now, but it seems that the website has been updated. It’s got a newer, fresher look, so that tells me the owners (who remain unknown) are still involved.

Let’s see what the new sales page says…

Sales Page

They obviously have some sort of geographical plugin added to this site, because they knew I was from Canada!

They’re open for registration! Lol…they always are, I promise…

They claim to train people on how to use their social media skills, along with their platform technology, to get paid to share some of the fastest-selling products online.

As a Social Sale Rep, product owners will pay you to spread the word about their products and drive sales.

This is all starting to sound like affiliate marketing via social media!

These are the reasons why they say you should join:

  • There are proven products with high conversion rates
  • There’s a generous compensation plan
  • There’s no ceiling on earnings
  • There’s excellent growth potential
  • They offer great support and training

So now let’s see if they deliver on their promises…

Member Area/Dashboard

To access the system, the first thing they’ll have you do is input your email address. You’ll then be brought to a sign-up page as a worker…

they want salespeople

Once you’ve filled this out, you’re brought to another landing page, which has a scarcity countdown timer on it.

This is just a marketing tactic. Don’t worry, they don’t want you to leave, lol.

They tell you that you must become a member and go through their basic training program to learn how to use their rebranding tools and viral share technology.

They then tell you they will offer you a huge discount because I’m from Canada! Ya, sure. Another tactic, lol.

Once you’ve paid your membership fee, you have access to the member area.

the training is limited

There are 4 training tutorials to watch after you’ve chosen which affiliate network you want to use.

I recommend you watch both.

the training isn't videos

They are simple pages showing you what you need to do. I don’t know why they say “click here to play”?

These aren’t videos! They’re simply short pages of information you scroll to read.

short tutorials only for training

After the training, you can go choose which niche category you want to promote.

There are 16 in all and cover the more popular ones.

social sale rep categories and niches

Basically, you’re promoting ebooks with your affiliate links added to it.

Once you’ve chosen the niche, you can browse through the products in that niche to find something you like.

social sales rep login will let you see the niches

The next thing you’ll need to do is rebrand the product.

You may think this involves personalizing it for your viewers, but no… all you’re doing is adding your affiliate link.

Then you’ll be sharing your promotion on social media, and if anyone purchases the product, you get paid a commission

The social media multiplier system they talk about is:

  1. Sending your visitors to an opt-in page capturing their name and email address to receive the ebook.
  2. The visitor gets sent to a page telling them they have to share the promotion on social media to actually get the ebook.
  3. When their friends choose to opt-in, you get additional leads

Upsells

I didn’t purchase any upsells, and couldn’t find any information about these, but this is what I think…

OTO #1: 20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just another ebook describing many other methods of affiliate marketing.

OTO #2: Video Rebrander Tool

This tool is most likely a simple software that allows you to add your affiliate link to a video promo ad. This would be used for YouTube.

OTO #3: Launch A Digital Product Business Program

I suggest this is another one of the owner’s products. The only problem is that if it was added at launch time, the training for any business in 2017 would be very outdated today!

My Concerns

socialsale has many concerns

Oh my, I have many concerns…

Concern #1: Social Media Rep?

Their sales page tries to make you believe you’ll be some sort of social media manager. But that’s not what this system is, at all!

It’s simply affiliate marketing via social media. You choose a product you want to share with your followers and hope to make some commissions if they purchase your offer.

So the next question should be… do you have a huge following of anyone who’d even be interested?

This brings me to my second concern…

Concern #2: Business Pages?

Are you new to affiliate marketing or do you have a business with loyal followers?

If you’re new, who are you going to promote your offers to? Your family and friends?

Unless you have a social media following of interested subscribers, you’re going to have a very hard time making any money by simply sharing your offer on your personal accounts.

Concern #3: Your Reputation

Most of the products you’ll be choosing from are ebooks. And from my own personal research, most of these ebooks are old and outdated.

Is this something you want to risk sharing? What will your followers think of you if they buy something and it turns out to be useless?

I highly recommend you go through each product yourself, first, to make sure it’s offering reliable information.

Concern #4: Rebranding?

This part of the product is very hyped up. As a marketer myself, when you hear the word “rebranding”, you think about editing the product with your own name, logo, and personal recommendations.

But all you get to do is add your affiliate link. No editing, no repackaging!

And claiming these are proven products is ridiculous. Just because they show some affiliate sales on the affiliate networks, doesn’t mean they’re any good. They just had aggressive marketers, lol.

Concern #5: Multiplier System

Did you notice how sneaky this system is? It’s set up to capture email addresses from your potential buyers.

Personally, I like to be upfront with my readers. But this system requires them to do an action without informing them of it.

After they’ve filled out the opt-in form, which is a common practice, they’re expecting a download button for the ebook.

Yes, but do they get it? No. They’re informed that they have to share the same ad on their social media accounts first. THEN, they get the book.

That would really tick me off…

Concern #6: Traffic For Sales

As a beginner, you’ll have a tough time making money with this system. They’re letting you believe you’ll make tons of money by simply sharing your link. Really??

To make money, your links need lots of traffic. And social media traffic isn’t known to be very effective.

Yes, you can start building an email list, but that takes time as well. And if you’ve ticked them off, they’ll just unsubscribe because they don’t trust you!

Pros

  • 60-day money-back guarantee
  • Shows you the basic form of affiliate marketing

Cons

  • No support group
  • No traffic training
  • Beginners can’t succeed with only social media
  • No long-term business training
  • Could learn to use Clickbank for free (Clickbank.com)

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

I recommend wealthy affiliate for proper training

Needless to say, I don’t like this product! And I truly believe it’s not going to work for you.

You will get a simple overview of one affiliate marketing method, but unfortunately, not an effective one!

Is Social Sale Rep a scam?   No

Would I recommend it?   No

There are many marketers making money with affiliate marketing, but using more current and reliable methods.

When social media first came out, this strategy would have been much more successful. But the longer people are online, using these platforms, the more “blind” they become to promotional ads.

They see these promos way too often and just scroll by!

This is why you can’t rely on cheap products like these. In 2020, you need to learn what’s working for TODAY!

Social media is still being used but in combination with other methods.

Can I make you my honest recommendation?

I would love for you to come and see where I learned all about affiliate marketing, and the many strategies available for success.

I’m still there, after all these years, because I love the community.

It’s large, active, and there for you every day, all day, no matter where you live in the world. That’s the advantage of global membership.

Here’s a bit of what they offer:

  • Training – Step by step courses, classrooms, tutorials, and live weekly webinars.
  • A domain registry – An easy way to find the perfect name for your business.
  • A website builder – With over 4,000 WordPress themes to choose from.
  • Website hosting – With powerful servers, security, backups, and emails, and more.
  • A keyword research tool – Find low-competition keywords for the best ranking.
  • And much more…

The best part is your FREE starter membership. No credit card necessary.

And when you see the value of the platform, as I did, you can join the premium membership for only $19 in your first month!

If you click on the image below, you can read all about it. When you join, I’ll greet you on the inside and be your coach as long as you need me to.
