What Is EZ Bay Payday?
This product was created by Steve Richards, which is a pen name. It’s all about dropshipping on the eBay platform.
EZ Bay Payday 2019 Edition – $37, downsell $17

Step #1: Introductory Video – which has nothing to do about eBay
Step #2: Register for a VIP Member Workshop – which is promoting John Crestani’s Super Affiliate System for $997.
Step #3: Claim your free website – sign up for domain and web hosting with “Coolhandle” for $143.04
Step #4: Claim their recommended product – CB Cash Code (may switch to different systems per sign up) for $37

Extras
- Extra Money Making Method: 13 best apps to make money by taking surveys
- Extra Money Making Method: Test websites for fast cash
- Extra Money Making Method; Freelancing / VA / Data Entry
- Extra Money Making Method: Cash Strategies (nothing in it yet)
These extra methods are simply linked to YouTube videos created by different people, for example, Justin Bryant. The top three had videos, but the last one didn’t contain anything as of the writing of this review.
Upsell (one click purchase – Beware)
- 100X Special Traffic – $17 (offered on payment confirmation page)
- Gold Upgrade
- Platinum Upgrade
- Titanium Upgrade
When you click on the affiliate link at the bottom of the sales page, it tells you they offer 60% commission of over $450 on each sale. That tells me that the initial product and upsells total $750. Wow!
There’s no way to know what they are or how much they are until you click on them. And with the one-click system, you’ve then purchased it. This should be illegal…

Who Is This System For?
I believe the EZ Bay Payday system is for someone new to the online marketing industry and is interested in dropshipping as a business model.
This is just a basic overview of the process, and you will eventually need more detailed training to become successful.
The training doesn’t tell you the disadvantages to this model, just the advantages. He makes you think that it’s easy and takes minimal work to run.
Unfortunately, that isn’t true. A dropshipping store on eBay takes a lot of your time due to customer service. You have to stay on top of your product inventory and make sure that what you list is what’s available. That includes potential sizes, colours, amounts, etc.
And if you’re new to PayPal, they will hold your money in the beginning, because you’re new. So that means you’ll have to pay for your inventory in advance of receiving any profits. That will require a healthy budget to work with.

How Does It Work?
You most likely came across this sales page in your inbox or advertised on social media. It opens to your typical sales page loaded with a number of red flags and false promises.
Though the income claims aren’t as outrageous as many other products, it’s still not possible for you to make that kind of money so quickly.
The Promo Video
I found the promo video to be the usual hype, sob story, and fake testimonials. It’s certainly a high-pressure page that many marketers can take.
He talks a lot about how you can make at least $500 per day using his system. That he’s found this secret cash machine, hiding in plain sight. Really?? eBay?
He claims only a few people know how to tap into this resource and what’s to show you how you can too. How nice of him, LOL
He then gives some honest stats about eBay:
- 3rd biggest e-commerce store in the world
- Has 250 million active users at any given time
- Generates 20 billion in sales every year
These stats are very impressive, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? In fact, many people are already running eBay businesses.
EBay is great for a drop shipping business, yet he claims he has an underground system to tap into its free viral traffic…haha. I have no idea where he’s going with that statement. It’s ridiculous, really! Just another marketing tactic to make you think you’re getting into some great secret.
In the video, he claims you can make $500 within 24 hours with just 17 minutes of setup work. And then only have to work 20 minutes per day to achieve your life of financial freedom.
That is so not true!
Steve claims all you have to do is:
- Pick a product to sell
- Connect EZ bay payday cash magnet
- Make money
The Inside
Having looked at his initial $37 product, from the inside, I can tell you that all his promises cannot happen. The basic overview that the videos teach you is nowhere near enough to start a successful dropshipping business. And what happened to the 17-minute setup? Not there!
I suspect you’ll have to purchase his upsells to get any system he created if, in fact, that’s what you get. I didn’t buy any upsells because other than giving the name, you have no idea what it contains, or how much it will cost you.
What I do know is if you click on it, you’ve just bought it… so beware!
He’s pushing many other products inside, which have nothing to do with a dropshipping business model. These are just other ways for him to make commission money off of you.
- The workshop on John Crestani’s Super Affiliate System. This will cost you $997 to get in. I’ve written a review on his system if you’re interested in reading what it is.
- The offer for the free website is not at all free. You must pay for the domain name and hosting fees which will cost you $143.04.
- And then he highly recommends CB Cash Code for another $37. I’ve reviewed this product as well, and certainly, don’t recommend it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was another of his lousy products, lol.
And I don’t think the course is even complete!
I have no idea where he got this course, but I’m pretty sure he didn’t add the last module. The way module 11 ended is suspicious and seems to me there should be a twelfth. Sheesh…..
The extra make money methods are valid. You’ll only make pennies with most of them, or possibly credits to use towards other items. Many of these can be found online with a little research.
I’ve started creating an exhaustive list of make money from home ideas which will include many of these methods.
Now, let’s look at all the usual red flags, so you can spot them yourself with other products…
Red Flags
#1. There were scarcity tactics like:
- A countdown clock
- Saying this page will be taken down by a certain date
- There are only a few copies left
- There are still spots open in your country
I always laugh at this because it’s a Clickbank product. There’s no such thing as limited spots or it could be taken down. Are you kidding me? He wants to make as much money as possible and it’ll stay up as long as its making money, lol.
#2. The fake owner’s bio.
The very bottom of the page does admit to Steve Richards being a pen name, so why the fake picture too? Personally, I can’t ever trust a product when I don’t know who the actual owner is.
When they’re not transparent, it just shows me that they’re in it for the money only. They don’t want to be known due to the repercussions involved if they were, lol.
Any legitimate product’s owner will introduce themselves and tell you everything that’s included.
#3. No system details.
There is no indication in the promo video about what the system is. You don’t even know it’s about dropshipping until you buy the product.
#4. Make money with very little work.
Comments like this are simply not true. Anything that can create a significant income takes time and hard work, even online.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
#5. Fake testimonials.
Oh my goodness! He has so many testimonials, and they’re all fake! Even his “team” are just pictures he’s found in various places online… like other websites, etc.
I could add proof like this for every picture on his sales page, LOL.
#6. Fake user YouTube video.
It seems like each time I write a new review in 2019, I’m coming across this same actress, doing the exact same video for these products. They have her saying a very generic review, then just swap out the business name logo beside her. LOL
I found so many more discrepancies, but this post would go on forever…
I honestly believe these types of products are sold on Clickbank to simply make the creator some money. They are often launched with contests to pay all the affiliates prizes if they make the most in sales. And in return, the creator himself is building a massive email list to turn around and promote other low-quality products, to make even more money.

Final Thoughts And Recommendations
Though I don’t believe this is a scam, because you do get some training inside, it’s your typical low-quality product. When you get inside, you quickly realize that he’s more interested in making money off of you, and actually helping you.
He pushes a variety of other products in hopes of making more commission. And they have nothing at all to do with dropshipping. They are different marketing models altogether.
Overall, I found the training quite basic but a good overview of the dropshipping model. So if you want to pay $37 for this, then OK. But really, I think you can find this and more detailed information, for free, on your own with some research.
Is EZ Bay Payday a scam? No Would I recommend it? No
If I thought you could become successful with what’s here, I’d recommend it of course. But you’re going to need to look for more training anyway, so why not do some proper research and get a legitimate training course specifically for dropshipping.
Just Google “online course for dropshipping” and a lot comes up. There are free courses, Udemy courses for a low cost, and many using other platforms like Shopify.
If you’re really interested in eBay, they have their own Seller Center which gives you a lot of information for free.
One thing for you to consider is that this model is not as easy as you may have heard. Yes, it can be very lucrative, but that takes a lot of work and a lot of your time. You also need to have some upfront money to invest in the beginning.
This marketing method is a “have money to make money” process. LOL.
It’s something that many marketers get into when they’ve gained some online experience. I’m not too sure it’s something you want to tackle if your new to this industry.
Did you know that there are many business models for online marketing? Besides dropshipping, there is also affiliate marketing. And with this method, there are various ways to make money as well. Email marketing, content marketing, etc. Some require an investment up front, and some don’t.
Can I make you my honest recommendation?
What if I told you that you can start online with affiliate marketing, and start for free! And what if I told you that for free I mean free training, two free websites, and all the tools and support under one roof. Really!
Yes, I know, it’s hard to believe and you wonder if I’m telling the truth, haha. I don’t blame you. There’s skepticism in all of us. But it is true! You can start with just your email address to create a free starter account. No credit cards necessary.
Later, if you decide to join up for the full deal, it’s less per month than a domain name and website hosting anywhere else. And no upsells! LOL.
This platform is where I run my business. They taught me everything I needed to know to get started and keep teaching me new things the longer I’m there. I’ve been there since 2011, and I don’t think I’ve seen everything yet! But what I do have is a successful business that keeps growing each year.
Click on the image below, and I’ll meet you on the inside. I’ll be there for you every step of the way.
So are you wishing to make money online? Have you tried any of these types of products before? I truly hope you haven’t lost money on these kinds of systems.
If you have any questions or need additional help, please comment below and I’ll get right back to you.
Cheers,
Suzanne
Hey, Suzanne!
Well, it’s good to know it’s not REALLY a scam, but it doesn’t sound worthy to me at all.
Looks like one of those promises where you actually have to spend more money than you will end up earning. And for some training, you could find somewhere else for free or cheaper with much more help.
Again, thank you so much for your honest opinion about it, looking forward to your next posts!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Barbara.
Hi Barabara,
Yes, that’s usually the way it goes with products like these, lol. They make big promises, that are complete lies, then tell you it’s the upsells that’ll get you there.
These things are so close to a scam, but offer you just enough material to make it legal. It’s so frustrating. The material they offer is always low-quality and rarely helpful.
Thanks for commenting,
Suzanne
Hey,
I guess my question would be, what is “dropshipping”
Hi Amanda,
Dropshipping is when you buy your products from a wholesaler, promote these products on your website, but the wholesaler does the packaging and shipping for you. This way, you don’t have to carry inventory or worry about the shipping.
Most people who do this type of business will use wholesalers from China. The products are very inexpensive and shipping from China is way cheaper than from anywhere else.
If you have any more questions, please let me know and I’ll get right back to you.
Cheers,
Suzanne
I definitely wouldn’t recommend EZ Bay either. For me, the first red flag starts with the upsells, then the owner’s pen name. I’ve always stated that if we don’t know who the real owner is and if we can’t or have a tough time getting a hold of them, the product might be rather shady.
Bought testimonials plus over-hyping the promo videos are nothing more to me than an attempt to get unsuspecting people desperate to make fast money to buy their product.
Hi Todd, and thanks for commenting.
You are so right. I can’t believe the length some of these product creators will go to, in order to make money.
I’m hoping that everyone who reads my reviews will be able to spot all the red flags on other scammy products. That’s why I write them. To make people aware of the lies, and hopefully save them time and money.
Cheers,
Suzanne
