Who Is This Plugin For?

This plugin is for any marketer who wishes to create membership sites for recurring income.

The plugin is great and does what the sales page promises. The creator is assuming, though, that you already have a WordPress website to install it on.

There’s no training for this, so a newbie would have to find additional training for buying domain names and creating their own websites.

Though I don’t recommend having only one income stream, this plugin would enable online marketers to have an additional source of monthly income.

Please remember that this is simply a tool. It’s not a promise that’ll you’ll get rich overnight, though it can certainly help you in the long-run.

This plugin is also considerably cheaper than some 3rd party services out there:

• Wild Apricot – $40 per month and up
• Doodlekit – $10 per month and up
• Squarespace – $12 per month and up

These are great services, but you’d have to manually create your membership sites.  Not ideal for beginners with no training.

Basic – This is where you add your site name, login URL, and chosen template.

Email – These are email notifications that are sent to your customer for “new user”, “new license”, and “reset password”.

At the back end, you can see all the products you’ve added to your site, as well as licenses, domain names, account settings and purchase history.

Products

Basic – Here is where you name your product and choose which site to add it to. You also add your URL and product description.

Product – Now you choose the type of delivery method for your product. It is a simple download, view as a WordPress page or post, as a course, a drip-feed, etc.

Payment – This is where you choose if it’s a one-time payment, a subscription, or a free product. You can then set the product price.

Bundle – Here you can choose if you wish to bundle this product with others you have in your funnels, such as a DFY version, or a membership club, etc.

IPN – Your payment processor choice is shown here, and now you add any relevant page URLs that you need with that platform.

For example, the sales page, download page, order button code, etc.

Autoresponder – By adding your autoresponders HTML code here, your customer’s email address is added to the list of your choice.

Theme – This is where you can upload the image of your product.

Courses

All of your courses are listed here as well as allowing you to edit or create new ones.

To add a new one, you would add the name, description, any video URLs. The content editor allows you to write out your course material.

Users

This tab list all the users in your system. It shows:

1. Email address
2. Full name
3. Number of orders they purchased
4. The amount of money spent
5. Their status – active or non-active

You can also manually add users to the platform.

Orders

This section gives you the ability to view orders based on the platform you’re selling on.

It gives you the order number, the amount spent, the user, the product, the payment processor, date and status.

License

This tab keeps track of which license you gave to which customer within the sales funnel…

Domains

This section keeps track of all the domains you have within the system as well as the license key that activated.

Reports

According to the timeline you choose to view, you can pick a product and view all the sales you’ve acquired during that time.

Utility

This is where you can view your log messages, any HTTP requests.

The database is great to help you clean up, reset, or backup your system to your computer or added protection…

There are also “Options” within the system where you can:

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

I believe this plugin is great for those people who wish to create membership sites for a recurring monthly income.

You can choose to sell a one-time product for a one-time fee, but it’s the recurring membership sites that give you a passive income.

If you set up a site to drip-feed the course, it may only run for a limited time so you don’t have to worry about refreshing and adding to your site for ongoing memberships.

But this will only give you a 2-month or more payment.

For a truly passive income, you want to set up your site so that each month or so, a new course is added. You can decide to add these in advance, or simply add one per month for an easy income.

Is MemberZ Connect a scam?   No

Would I recommend it?   Yes

This could be a great way to create one income stream, but I never recommend you only have one.

What happens if this plugin stops being updated? What if it no longer properly integrates with your website over time?

You will lose everything, don’t you think? Then what? Finding an alternative plugin that would allow you to add all the same data is unlikely.

I’m not saying it won’t be updated. I just want you to see how depending on only one income stream can be dangerous.
