What Is Litebucks About? Same Scam, Different Name!  Beware

Are you someone who needs some extra cash and looking for a way to make online? Maybe a stay at home parent who needs a second income?

If you’ve been looking, you probably came across an ad for this product on social media.

So what is Litebucks about? Good question and I’m glad you’re researching it before opening an account. I know it’s free, but once inside, you’ll see it’s not what it claims to be.

How can you know? It’s hard to tell sometimes, so that’s why it’s so important to check it out first. And that’s why I’m writing my review for you.

I love to help my readers learn what’s legit, and what’s a scam to stay away from.

I take an in-depth look into these products, show you how they work, and then give you my honest recommendations.

By the end of this review, you’ll know what I know, and can make an educated decision, OK?

What Is Litebucks?

This product is another one of those with an unknown owner and was registered on Sept 16, 2019.

It claims to pay you $10 for each referral you get. So basically it wants you to share your link with everyone you know, in hopes of getting sign-ups.

Who Is This System For?

NO ONE! This is definitely a scam to collect your personal information such as your email address, credit card information, your physical address and sometimes your phone number.

I highly recommend you stay away from products like these!

There are many legitimate ways to make money online, but this isn’t one of them.

 

 

 

How Does It Work?

This is the type of product that is spread around through social media and email. I couldn’t find it on any affiliate network.

I want you to know that I personally signed up with a fake email so that I could show you inside.

This product is almost identical to two other scams I’ve reviewed.

• Social Bounty

Let’s take a look at the sales page first.

Sales Page

The scary thing is that the sales page actually looks pretty decent. It starts off by saying that you can earn $300 per day using social media.

They claim they are the only legitimate influencer network that pays up to $10 per referral.

Apparently, all you have to do is:

• sign up for an account
• invite your friends by sharing your link
• get $10 dollars for every friend you invite who joins
• cash out your earnings instantly

Then they show you three obviously fake testimonials, with ridiculous income claims. There is no way to prove these are true.

They have a simple calculator on their site that has you putting in a number of followers to show you how much you can earn per day.

You would supposedly need 1312 people to join up to make their claim of $300 per day.  I have no idea how they figure that!?

I don’t believe you’ll get paid anything, but they’ll be getting that many more email addresses and such from your efforts.

They have some questions and answers listed. This is what they claim:

• to be the number one influencer network of more than 300,000 members.
• They claimed to have coverage from major sources like Forbes and Fox news.
• They provide transparency to their members.
• You are getting paid via ad-spend revenue.
• If you don’t want to refer you can test some sponsor’s products in the member area.
• You will be paid through PayPal, Cash App, bitcoins, or mailed cheques.

I had to laugh out loud when I read these answers. Claiming to have coverage from Forbes and Fox news was hilarious.was hilarious.

And easy enough to prove… of course it was a big fat lie!

So now let’s take a look at my “Fake” Account…

Member Area/Dashboard

You are immediately brought to your dashboard where you can see that you have supposedly received your $25 sign-up bonus.

The leader board income claims are ridiculous in my opinion and seemingly never change.

They provide all the social media links right there so that with one click you are sharing your referral link.

This is how they are scraping a lot of email addresses for their own purposes.

Guess what happens when you try to share with Facebook?

It’s obviously been overused by many people hoping to get paid. It has been reported as abusive and Facebook is now banning this link.

If that isn’t a big red flag, I don’t know what is!

Someone didn’t do their homework. They have added a link to Google Plus, which isn’t even available anymore.

Refer & Earn

There is nothing special here. All they show is your referral link and links to:

• Whatsapp
• Facebook
• Twitter
• Instagram

These were already provided for you on the homepage so I don’t see the sense of this particular tab.

It seems to me that they are simply adding extra tabs to make the homepage look impressive.

$30 TaskWall

I would be very careful about clicking on the links. I have no idea if there are any viruses attached to these. I personally use a Mac so I am not too worried about viruses, but if you have a PC please beware.

I’ll show you screenshots to let you know what can be expected with each task, okay? They are all basically the same.

First, you see a page like this…

then you’re brought to a sign-up page where you have to provide your email address.

Now the truth comes out…

And notice how they say there are no hidden fees, the right below that they say the only free part is a 7-day trial and then you’re charged $49.95 per month. Sheesh!

Of course, I didn’t give them any information, but I clicked around until I got to the company’s homepage.

Funny thing is that this page says you only get a 5-day free trial.

Hmm… This looks familiar. The exact same Page as the product I reviewed before.  Only this one had a different name.

Here is an image from the other product I reviewed (Influencer Earn).  Notice they’re identical but the one is “SmushGame” and the other is “HoltGamez”.

There are 14 offers that supposedly will pay you $30 dollars each for signing up. A couple of them are linked to the same site and one of them is a dead link.

Promotional Posts

This tab says that there should be images that you can use on social media, but there are none showing.

All you see is your referral link and a ridiculous banner that says someone was just paid $630, 12 seconds ago via PayPal, lol.

YouTube Submission

They suggest you create your own YouTube video and you will earn $50. Do you know how to do that?

All they provide you with is the video title and description. But no training on how you would go about making your own video.

This is definitely not beginner-friendly.

Instagram Submission

They want you to make an Instagram post about Litebucks. They want you to tell people how it works, how much money you’ve made, and why you love it.

Then they want you to choose from one of the images to make your post. The only problem is that there were no images available, remember?

They claim you will be paid $10 each time you submit a link, and you can post every 48 hours.

Wait a minute! I thought they said it was $10 dollars per referral?

Facebook Submission

This submission is the same as Instagram, but with a different content line.

Twitter Submission

Again, the same as Instagram, but different content.

Rewards Center

Under this tab, they say that you can earn one SP coin for every $1 that you earn.

These coins can be exchanged for different prizes.

Notice the number of points you would need to earn for their top products.

It would be cheaper for you to go buy it on your own, ha-ha.

Not that you would get one anyway…

My Account

This is where you would set your payment method:

• PayPal
• Bitcoin
• Cash App
• Mailed Cheque

You’re also informed that the minimum cash-out is $200. They say that you must “meet the following requirements” to cash out for the first time, yet don’t list those requirements…

I’m not sure if they forgot about this section, or if they purposely left it out. I suppose that would give them the excuse to not pay you?

 

 

My Concerns

OK, there are lots!!

The BBB

I tried to look up some information with the Better Business Bureau, but I think it’s too new still. I did find a consumer report warning people about products that don’t pay for tasks.

“To make matters worse, they have also provided the outfit running the scheme with sensitive information such as name, telephone number, email, and in some cases, Cash App or PayPal account information. They also may have provided the names and contact information of friends and family members in the referral process”.

I believe that all these types of products fall under this warning, and could be run by the same person.

Terms & Conditions

Nowhere in this document could I find the requirements for the “first cash payout”.

It’s a long document that seems to protect them from any type of legal issue.

Notice the highlighted sentence. It’s blanket statements like this that concern me.

They seem to have covered their butts pretty well…

Fake Products For Tasks?

It seems to me that many of these “tasks” bring you to potentially fake sites. It’s hard to know if they’ve been created to capture your personal information, or if they are legit.

I wasn’t about to try any out just in case!

I already showed you a similar page design from my previous review. Is that just a disturbing coincidence? Or are they creating many sites like this to get your credit card info?

And what about the monthly charge??

Payouts??

I’m personally convinced this is another scam, and that you’ll never get paid for your commissions, let alone get a great reward with your earned points.

This is the type of scam that collects people’s personal information, so they can turn around and sell it to someone else.

I highly recommend you stay away from products like this. For your own sake, and the sake of any friendships you have, lol.

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

I believe this system to be a total scam. They start with one name, then change up the dashboard and release it as another product. Who knows how many times they’ve done this.

I’ve seen two very similar ones so far, possibly by the same scam artists.

This is simply a way for these people to scrape personal information off the Internet by promising riches. It could lead to fraudulent charges on your credit card, or even identity theft.

Is Litebucks a scam?   YES

Would I recommend it?   NO
