The Social Bounty Review. Wow! Another Identical Scam!

If you’re looking for a way to make money online, in your spare time, you’ve probably been coming across these “pay for tasks” sites. Today I want to share the Social Bounty review with you.

There have been many popping up lately, and they’re all scams! It’s pretty scary how legit they look, and many people have been fooled by their promises.

Please read through my review so that you’ll know what to look for with other sites like Social Bounty.

What Is Social Bounty?

This website was registered on December 28, 2019, in Panama, according to Whois.com.

They claim to pay you $2 for every person who clicks on your link, and $10 if they register. There are supposedly other tasks you can perform to earn even more money.

Who Is This System For?

Absolutely no one!! This is a scam. Please don’t be fooled!

This type of scam is used for data harvesting. They only want to collect your personal information. They then can sell it to third parties, or worse yet, use it for identity theft.

I’m doing my best to make people aware of these scams, to help them avoid sharing their personal information.

It may start with your email address, but many of the tasks will require you to register with credit card information, your address, birth date, and sometimes phone number.

How Does It Work?

This type of scam targets people who wish to make money online with ease. They may desperately need cash which makes it even easier to entice.

But lets face it, who doesn’t want an easy way to make lots of money. It’s everyones’ dream come true, right?

Sales Page

The sales page looks very legitimate. This is the first way they try to fool you.

They clearly spell out how it’s supposed to work. And they have some testimonials (fake I might add) to drive their point home.

It’s usually quite easy to determine if they’re using fake images. When I used “TinEye” to search for the pictures, you can see how many times that particular image was used, and when.

Here’s my proof for you…

They go on to show some impressive stats, but of course, this is all so easy to fake as well.

This particular website shows legal documents at the bottom of the page. This is new as I had to search online for the other reviews I’ve done on these scams.

The “terms & conditions” document is especially interesting. They pretty well cover their behinds with this, lol…

And I’m not sure what this is about? You can’t be under the age of 99 to use this site?? LOL

Is this a typo, or another sneaky way to get out of paying anyone…

Member Area/Dashboard

Getting an account is as easy as typing in your email address. Please don’t do this. Or if you want to check it out, please use a junk email address. I have set up a junk one for purposes like this!

Once inside, you get a first look at the dashboard. It’s fairly well done with a lot of information.

You’ll see that they show a $25 earnings already deposited. Ya sure!!

They also give you a warning about making fake referrals and clicks. It’s actually quite alarming how many times they refer to this. Almost like a fore-warning that you won’t get paid…

And I had to laugh when I saw the leaderboard. There’s some pretty wild incomes there! All fake, but still…

But this is what I mean by enticing. It’s numbers like these that can convince people how rich they’ll get if they perform all the tasks that asked of them.

Chat

This is a new feature compared to the other sites I’ve reviewed. It’s a community chat wall where you can supposedly chat with other members.

But it’s all fake. The “chat” is locked, and they say that it’s down for 10 minutes for scheduled maintenance. It’s amazing how long their idea of 10 minutes is, haha.

They made sure to add some messages that look like a few people got paid, and another who said they’ve been there for 6 months and about to buy themselves a BMW next week.

Really?? The sites only been up for little over a month when I wrote this review. 6 months, eh? More proof of a fake site!

Refer & Earn

Here you can see your affiliate link, and 3 share buttons.

• Twitter – this one opened OK.
• What’s App – this link is dead.
• Facebook – this opened up OK.

I’m surprised that the Facebook redirect worked this time. The last 3 reviews I did show that Facebook banned the links from those websites because they were reported as spam.

Now, the other 3 have been around longer, so I suspect it’s only a matter of time before Facebook bans this one as well.

$30 Task Wall

Social Bounty has added some new tasks for $40. This is new!

They claim to pay you $30 to $40 if you complete each task. Unfortunately you have to provide a lot of personal information for many of them.

I clicked on the offer to “Register to Stream in HD” and was brought to this page…

After giving my (fake) email and (fake) password, they brought me to the payment page.

Even though they repeatedly said it would be a free account, it’s not true. Its only a free trial and will begin to charge you $59.99 per month after 5 days.

This conflicts with their other statements that there’ll be “No Charges Guaranteed” unless you opt to upgrade to a Premium membership.

The paragraph above doesn’t allow for any opting in?!

This is as far as I went. There’s no way I’m giving these people my credit card information…

I also discovered that a few of the links went to the same offers.

YouTube Submission

The one thing different with Social Bounty is that they only have YouTube submission now. The previous sites also had Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Not sure what happened there…

This tab gives you a video title as well as description for your own YouTube channel. Now, that’s assuming you already have a YouTube account.

If you don’t, you’re out of luck because there’s no training to show you how to set up your account, let alone how to make your own video to upload.

Rewards Center

They tell you that for every $1 you earn, you will also earn 1 SB point. And when you’ve accumulated enough points, you can exchange them for rewards.

Doesn’t this look amazing?? So all you need to do is earn $40,000 and you can be rewarded with an Apple Macbook Air.

Hmm… enticing? Maybe, if it were real!

Payment Proof

These are obviously fake screenshots.

Take a look at the dates on the images. Isn’t it amazing how some can post in February and May, that they just made money, when Social Bounty only started in late December?

It’s simply more proof that this is all fake.

Video Proof

These community videos are also created by the owners. Out of the 3 videos, only 2 are live. And when you listen to them, they sound convincing, but please don’t believe them.

If you search on YouTube, you’ll come across many reviews like this one, telling you how fake it is. And they you’ll see a few fake ones telling you how great it is.

The saddest part is seeing innocent people uploading their own videos showing you their excitement about what they’ve just discovered. Unfortunately they haven’t tried getting paid out yet.

The only good thing I discovered this time, was that there were fewer member videos than with the first 3 sites I reviewed. So I can only hope that people are realizing the truth and staying away from these scams!

I Made Money While Typing This Review LOL

During the time I started my review until now, I make $6.00. I smell something fishy…

On the dashboard, I have apparently gotten 3 clicks already and made the $2 per click they promised. There’s only one big issue here… I didn’t share my link with anyone.

So how did I get these clicks, and why are they crediting me the money?

I can only think of one reason. Remember when they said they would withhold your funds if they discovered you had fraudulent clicks?

Well, this would be deemed fraudulent because I didn’t earn them myself. So it looks like they’ll randomly send you clicks, and when you request to be paid out, they’ll have their excuse to deny you payment. Sheesh!!

My Concerns

Wow, where to begin… Needless to say, this is all a fake, like so many other copy cat businesses. It’s all designed to harvest personal information, which could lead to any number of problems for you.

One obvious red flag is where they are going to get the money to pay their members anyway? If everyone can join for free, where does the owner get the funds to pay everyone out.

Please stay away from these types of offers. They’re potentially dangerous.

There are many legitimate ways to make money online. If you’re truly interested, please read to the bottom of my review, and I’ll help you out.

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

These attempts to entice people to make money online is quite sad. Especially when so many people are needing additional funds to make ends meet.

But that’s what these owners are relying on. They know how much people would love to earn easy money, and that’s who they’re preying on

Is Social Bounty a scam?   Yes

Would I recommend it?   NO

If you are needing an additional income, there are many legitimate ways to make money online. Not everyone out there trying to help you are fake.

A quick search online will show you an abundance of training courses for online marketing, myself included…
