WHAT IS GLOBAL AFFILIATE ZONE? THEIR “SECRET” EXPOSED!

what is global affiliate zone -

Are you hoping to learn online marketing strategies to earn extra income? Are you new to this, with no online experience?

I’m glad you’re wanting to learn because there’s no better time to start a business online. It’s akin to Star Trek (OK, I admit I’m a Trekkie, lol). It’s the final frontier and everyone wants a piece of it.

But there are also a lot of misleading, or downright dangerous galaxies trying to draw you in, so research is key!

I’m relieved you’ve been researching different platforms before believing everything you read online. That’s what brought you here, right?

So what is Global Affiliate Zone? Is it legitimate? Are they telling the truth? That’s what I want to talk to you about.

There are so many reviews online shouting “scam”.  I don’t believe this is a scam, BUT, it’s not what you think either.

I was quite surprised by the variety of reviews there are online. Some love it, some hate it. And each one had a different view of what it was. My guess is that they really didn’t look too deep.

I want to unravel the mystery because I’m really disappointed when businesses aren’t upfront about what they really provide.

In this review, I want to show you what Global Affiliate Zone really is, so you can make an informed decision.

I am not an affiliate. But I have done extensive research on their program to find out everything I could for you. Afterward, I’d like to share with you my thoughts and recommendations, OK?

What Is Global Affiliate Zone?

Global Affiliate Zone, or GAZ, is a network marketing company. In their own words, they say “Global Affiliate Zone is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive coaching and resources regarding online marketing strategies”.

GAZ is co-founded by Julian Sherman and Mathieu Jang, since 2016. Unfortunately, there’s very little information on their website about the company itself.

When I searched the BBB (Better Business Bureau), I found their date of incorporation to be March 22, 2016. I could find no information about their team, online.

global affiliate zone team members
Their website claims to have over 4000 members now, so if this is accurate, they have grown over two years.

For $99 per month, you can join the GAZ Pro Membership. With this membership you get:

  • a 1/2 hr. coaching call
  • 3 hr. coaching mentor training
  • private access to the GAZ community
  • team group chats
  • live weekly workshops
  • easy to follow training
  • video tutorials
  • pre-designed sales funnels and autoresponders
  • top sales teams closing sales for you

If you get all this for $99/month, it sounds too good to be true.

They make it sound like everything is already done for you, up to and including a sales team to close the sale for you. All you do is sit back and wait for the commissions to roll in.

I don’t know about you, but if this were the case, wouldn’t they have way more than 4000 members? I would think when word got out, they’d be selling memberships like hotcakes! I’m sorry, but so far this sounds way too easy.

This is all they say about online marketing training. The rest of the Global Affiliate Zone website information is more telling.

Under their “training and education” page, they explain what affiliate marketing is, then tell you that you can implement their proven strategy into any affiliate program online.

OK, so far so good. I expect to see courses on choosing your niche, building your website, keyword research, and everything else needed to start an online business.

They then say they share in-demand products and services that you can market right away as affiliates of GAZ. It’s what the members actively market online.

Hmm, this doesn’t sound like any online marketing training I’ve heard of before.

I start to get more suspicious when I read that the membership requirement is to advertise and market their done-for-you websites where they offer their services.

Their website states that they focus on one product, the GAZ Pro Membership. In fact, when you get inside, you see that there are NO such training courses in online marketing.

The training is geared towards marketing their own services.

This is what costs $99/month and pays out a 30% commission. So for every month your new sign-up person pays, you get $29.70.

Granted, this sounds like an excellent affiliate program paying out at 30%, but there’s one catch. In order for you to be an affiliate with GAZ, you must purchase the Pro Membership yourself. Also known as a “pay to play” system.

This certainly isn’t what I expected. They require you to be their affiliate, yet you must first pay to be a member? Any other affiliate program online is free to join.

Then the fine print, at the bottom of their home page… was very telling!

global affiliate zone is a scam according to the fine print
Really?? The predicted average annual gross revenue for affiliates is projected to be between $500 and $2000. So you’re paying $99 /mo ($1188/year) and predicting you’ll only make $500 – $2000. I’d say the only people making money here are the owners!

What GAZ Really Is!

I discovered that Global Affiliate Zone is actually an internet marketing platform, that teaches you how to promote their GAZ Pro Membership.

And within this platform, is a sales funnel that recruits members to an MLM (multi-level-marketing) business called Enagic.

So basically it’s a front-running business to recruit new members to Enagic. When they tell you that they are handing you a high-converting offer, it’s simply products of Enagic, an MLM company.

Enagic is a Japan-based manufacturer of alkaline ionizers and water filtration machines for your tap water at home. It was pioneered in 1974, in Okinawa, Japan, and is now a global commodity.

This is what the Enagic compensation plan looks like, below…

It’s definitely in the form of an MLM business plan. (If you can’t understand it, it’s an MLM business, haha). You can see their tiered income plan below.

Ironically, you could bypass GAZ altogether, and go directly to Enagic. They also provide business opportunities with marketing tools, a training library, statistic tracking, etc. And no $99/month membership.

The video below, explains what to expect when you get inside GAZ.

This is exactly the style of selling I’ve seen at various MLM meetings over the years. They are exceptionally good at hyping you up to believe you could be the next millionaire.

Don’t take me wrong, I’m sure he and a few more have become very successful with this platform. Unfortunately for the rest of us, he probably got in on the ground floor and knew how to hustle.

Most people I know involved with MLM companies, struggle to make anything.

These are the main points I’d like to share with you:

  • at 1:30 & 2:48 minutes, he states they find the best products and services inside the industry that pay the highest commissions out there. But in fact, there’s only one product…Enagic.
  • at 3:08 minutes, he talks about leveraging the sales of others, which is exactly what an MLM business model is.
  • at 3:20 minutes, he starts talking about teaching you how to drive traffic using Facebook and a highly converting sales funnel. So all their members advertise the same ads on only one platform. They’re competing against one another…
  • at 5:45 minutes, you see the back office which sets up your mindset to prepare for the coaching call, building you up for easy conversion.
  • at 6:32 minutes, you can see that the “training” you get is specifically geared to using all the done-for-you sales ads, etc. for the product they want you to sell (Enagic). No online marketing training what so ever.

My Take on Global Affiliate Zone

As you can see from the video above, and their website, the founders are truly great marketers. They know what to say, and how to say it, to get you excited about their platform and want to join. That’s what great marketers do, after all.

They provide you with 90% of the work already done for you, and all you need to do is put in your 10% to drive traffic to them, and they attempt to close the sale.

I am very disappointed that they don’t tell you upfront what their end goal is.

Why not tell us what you want us to sell? Why lead people into believing they are going to learn all about online marketing, when in fact you just learn how to plug in their material?

One big concern I have is their ability to make you believe you can make lots of money. Then of course, what MLM business doesn’t.

But with any MLM business, the market becomes saturated and it gets harder and harder to attract new members. In this case, the market is Facebook.

At the beginning of any system like this, the people at the top have the advantage of bringing on many new people and make significant amounts of commission.

But as time passes, more and more people are out there giving the same information, and it gets harder to find untapped sources.

Especially if the material never changes.

GAZ member hierarchy
Take a look at the picture above as an example. When Global Affiliate Zone started in year 1, there was little competition on Facebook because there were few GAZ members.

As each year passes, there are more members competing among themselves for Facebook traffic.

If you join now, you can see how many more members there are, and how difficult it will be to attract an untapped market. You are essentially competing with everyone who joined before you.

The law of diminishing returns says you won’t be as successful as the person before you.
global affiliate zone compensation plan won't last
And because GAZ has you using their made-for-you material, you’re stuck in an ever-growing saturated market.

In my research, I’ve discovered another disturbing fact. But the only proof I’ve found is people’s reviews of GAZ.

These people claim to have been required to buy the filtration water system before being allowed to sell it. Anywhere upwards of $8000. I suspect this is the cost to be a licensed distributor of Enagic, but again, I have no proof.

Nothing is said about this on either the GAZ or the Enagic websites. But the fact that so many people have claimed this, makes me believe it’s true.

That’s a BIG upsell that’s kept secret.

If you click on this link, you will see a past member’s comment on Reddit about their experience, dated about December 2017.

My Personal Recommendation

I believe the founders of Global Affiliate Zone have built a legitimate platform. But how effective it will be in the long run, I don’t know.

Let’s say you know how to really hustle and build up your business and create a nice passive income. You’ve tapped out all your friends and family, and you’re now sitting pretty.

So tell me this… what happens when there are significant changes to Facebook’s algorithms (which just happened), and your ads are stifled.

Or what if GAZ shuts down? There goes your income, your lively hood. You’re back at square one.

The only problem is, you never really learned how to start up again. When you joined GAZ, they promised they’d teach you all about online marketing that you could apply anywhere else online.

But that isn’t true, is it? You haven’t learned any of that.

All you learned was how to plug into material already done for you, on Facebook. Without a successful marketing team behind you, doing all the work, you’ve got nothing!

First off, let me say this. As an online marketer myself, I have learned from the ground up how to start and run my own online business.

In my opinion, you can’t call yourself an online marketer just because you’ve made money leveraging the work of the people below you.

An online marketer has the ability to create a business in any niche of their choosing. If I were a member of GAZ, and they closed down, I could build up a new income stream in various other markets. Could they? Nope!!

Why not learn all you need to be successful, from a platform that actually teaches you from the ground up.

A business model that is honest and upfront about what they provide. A platform with over 1 million members, worldwide.

If you wish to try GAZ my worry is that you will lose more money than you make.

My personal recommendation is to learn online marketing from the best, then take your knowledge to build up multiple passive income streams.
