Who Is This System For?

I can’t recommend this product to anyone. It has a very high chance of getting you in trouble with copyright law.

The software does do what it promises, but that doesn’t mean it’s right.

I’ll show you what the software can do in the review below, but then please read all my most serious concerns about using this product.

How Does It Work?

First I’d like to touch on the sales page, OK?

It starts out by saying “Legally Steal Content?” And that comment has already got me skeptical, lol.

Let’s see what else the sales page says…

Sales Page

The text then goes on to talk about Yahoo.com, and because it’s the 5th largest search engine, why not use it to curate your content.

Using Yahoo.com is a great idea, but copying content to your website isn’t, in my opinion.

The owner says you’ll be getting:

• Content finder
• Auto-post to WordPress sites
• Multiple scheduling options
• Posts to social accounts
• Preview posts
• And more…

The nice thing is that there isn’t a lot of hype like you see on many sales pages. It basically provides you with information about what this system can do.

It seems that this could work for your social media accounts, but don’t agree with posting to your WordPress Sites.

And what about duplication? Or copyright laws?

Let’s go inside and see how the product works…

Member Area/Dashboard

When you access your member dashboard, this is what you’ll see…

The first thing you should do is watch the tutorial videos, so you know how to use this software. The videos are step by step, showing you exactly what you need to do.

It’s very easy to use, but the training is there for you if you should get stuck at some point.

Content

When you want to add content, click on this tab and you’ll immediately see the most trending content on the internet at that moment…

If you have a news style site, you may wish to post what you already see.

If you have a niche website, you’ll want to enter your keyword so the software can pull up content relevant to your niche. You can continue to refine the content by:

• How recent it was published.
• Sorting it by date, etc.
• Choosing a content source available to the system.
• Requiring an image (recommended)

When you choose one of the articles, simply click “Post” and a popup will appear showing you what it would look like if you shared it to your social media accounts…

Choose the website you want to publish it to, and then choose to publish now or schedule for the future.

Social Accounts

This section is where you will add your social sharing accounts. Your options are:

1. WordPress
2. Facebook
3. Twitter
4. LinkedIn
5. Tumbler
6. Imgur
7. Blogger
8. Reddit

If you’ll notice on the image above, you’ll see the sharing links added to the preview. Just click on the ones you want to share, and it will automatically post for you.

Blogs

Adding a blog to the software is very easy. Click on “create blog” and add:

• Your blog name
• The WordPress URL
• Your username
• Your password

And that’s it! Click create and your blog is now added.

You can add as many blogs as you wish.

Calendar

This is really handy to schedule your posts up to a year in advance…

As you can see in the image above, your schedule can be refined down to the hour of the day you want your posts to publish.

This is great for certain social sites. There are always optimal times to publish your posts that best suit your particular audience.

My Concerns

The software does what it promises, and it quickly and easily posts trending content to your blogs or social media sites.

But I have some concerns I want to share with you…

Concern #1 – Duplication

I know this looks like such an easy way to post trending content to your sites but consider this…

You are publishing duplicate content. Since when did Google (or Yahoo) decide they’d rank duplicated content? For that matter, they’d most likely push your content down or not rank it at all.

I personally wouldn’t post any of this content to my own blog or website.

Concern #2 – Legally Steal?

I know this statement on the sales page tries to divert the fact that it’s legally stealing other people’s content, but really?

In my opinion, it definitely stealing and definitely not legal!

My next concern talks about copyright law, but for now, I want you to consider this… How would you like it if someone republished your article in their own name? How is that legally stealing?

I spend many hours creating original content for my blog and would be really upset if someone came along and took it as their own. Especially without permission.

Concern #3 – Copyright

This is my biggest concern right here! Infringing on copyright law!

Take a look at the news site that they use for their training…

Notice how the article that was published shows the blog owner’s name as being the author of this article. The problem is he isn’t the author.

Now granted, when you click on the image in the curated news site, it brings you to the actual article on the original site, but can you see how this can bring you legal problems?

You should never, ever, put your name on someone else’s content. That’s just plain illegal!

That also goes for your social media sites. The content is posted showing your blog site’s name as the owner of the content, not the original author’s name.

Now, I suppose you could make sure that you give proper credit to the real author, each time you post something, but I’m not sure some big businesses would allow that either.

You didn’t get their permission to use their material, and I’d be worried they could still come after you.

Concern #4 – Leakage…

If your visitors search on Yahoo and stay on Yahoo, they can read the article there and be able to see the monetization you’ve placed on your blog.

But… if your visitor searches from elsewhere, and they click on the curated article, they’re brought to the original author’s site.

That means they’ve left your blog and no longer see your adverts. You’ve just lost traffic to your advertising campaigns.

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

I’m sorry, but there’s no way I can recommend a product that could put you in legal trouble. And frankly, I’m surprised that someone would create a tool like this.

Is Curation Cloud a scam?   No

Would I recommend it?   No

There are so many other ways you can earn money online. Safer ways! Why not do what I do with affiliate marketing?
