This tool looks like a great time saver, especially for YouTube marketers. It promises many great features on their sales page, like more views, hyper-targeting, and more sales.

This is another product added to the suite of Blaster tools already created by these gentlemen.

Sales Page

According to this sales page, they claim this is the only A.I. Thumbnail creator that creates high-class, professional thumbnails in only 3 clicks.

They offer thumbnail templates (30) that can be customized with their drag and drop editor.

Apparently, you can create an image in 60 seconds or less with no design skills needed. Wow!

They also will do split testing for you, to improve your campaigns with the better performing image. That’s a great addition. This tool is supposed to help you get more:

• Views – to improve your click-through rate.
• Exposure – to help get you more views.
• More subscribers – for more views and sales.
• Savings – by no longer needing graphics or freelance designers.
• Time – because it creates your thumbnails quickly. No waiting on freelancers.

So far, this all sounds amazing. Let’s take a look at the inside, to see if it provides what it promises…

Member Area/Dashboard

Well, I’m happy to say that it does deliver! You’ll have to go through all the upsell offers though, lol.

I always recommend you try the front end product first, as all the upsells are still offered inside the platform. You might want to get the “Pro” and “Club” upgrades for more templates and features.

The templates in the main product are limited to 30. So your choices are very limited for any particular niche.

The first thing you should do is go through the training videos first. You’ll get a feel for what this software can do for you before you start.

The tab for the training videos has all of them in one place. Each of these videos also auto-plays on each section as you click on its tab. For instance, when you click on “Thumbnail Creator”, the training video will pop up automatically for you.

YouTube Accounts

If you’ve only purchased the front end product, you will only be able to use 1 YouTube account. So depending on how serious a YouTube marketer you are, this may not be enough.

The Pro upsell allows you unlimited accounts if you need more.

It’s easy and straight forward to add your YouTube account to the software.

Thumbnail Creator

When you click on the Creator, you will see that the system has uploaded all your videos from your channel.

Now you have the opportunity to choose an existing video thumbnail, or start from scratch (if you’re creating a new video to upload).

There are templates already included with your purchase, and they range through a variety of niches.

That way, this product can be useful for any customer, as not everyone will have the same niche.

So let’s say you choose a “Clickbait” template and choose one that you like…

The software will automatically input your video details. If you were reviewing “Boomerang Buddy”, it will put that name onto the new template image.

Now you can make any changes that you want, with text, colours, shapes, etc.

If you are working from scratch, there’s a really nice option to create transparent images, if you purchase the pro upgrade.

If you click on shapes, you can choose already loaded images such as “cutout hands”. These images already have no background.

You can play with these images and create your own funky thumbnail.

You can also upload images to have the software remove the background for you. Then save them as a PNG, and you can use it again for other thumbnails later on.

This is something I frequently do with Photoshop, so it’s a great feature for those of you who don’t own a program like that.

When you’re happy with your edits and click save, you now have the option of saving it in different formats:

• Save as PNG
• Save as JPG
• Save with Watermark
• Publish on YouTube

The option to save it directly to your already uploaded video is very convenient.

When you choose to do that, a warning comes up explaining how it can take up to 6 hours for YouTube and Google to update your thumbnail.

YouTube rarely takes that long, but Google usually takes longer than YouTube.

AI Image Analyzer

This function is available with the Pro upgrade. It’s part of the software that links you to Google’s “Vision AI” tool to see if you’re following their “Acceptable Practices”.

The Thumbnail Blaster only shows you one segment of Google’s tool, which is the “safe search” segment. It includes:

1. Adult
2. Medica
3. Spoof
4. Violence
5. Racy

If you’re truly interested in this data, you need to head over to the actual Google tool. They offer much more data on different aspects of your images.

Split Test

This is a very cool feature. You can upload two different thumbnails for one video, and the system will change the image once per hour.

It will record the number of views that each thumbnail receives, and then upload the winning one automatically.

This step alone can save you a lot of time!

I believe this is a unique addition to a product like this. Split testing is important to find out the kind of data you need to improve your campaigns.

Training Videos

Each training video is shown in two places. You can access all of them under one tab, down the left-hand side of your dashboard.

They will also automatically pop up in each pertaining section.

For instance, when you click on the “creator” tab, it will pop up as soon as you enter that section. The same goes for each tab on the dashboard.

The videos are clear and to the point, and offer you all the training you need for each section.

Upsells

The Pro upgrade has many more additional features to enhance your images and give you more choices.

• It will allow you to add unlimited accounts.
• It provides you with their VIP support through their “Team Viewer”.
• You will be able to create your own custom designs and save them as your own templates to use later on.

My Concerns

Personally, I think this tool is great. If you’re a video marketer, it’s a wonderful asset to have. It not only will save you time but provide you with professional looking thumbnails.

There are just a couple of things that annoy me with the platform, and I wanted to share this with you so you know what to expect.

1. The training videos are set up to automatically pop up each time you go into one of the sections. When you’re starting out, this is convenient to remind you what to do.

But once you’ve got the hang of it (which takes no time at all…), I found it very annoying to always have to remove the popup each time.

2. The choice of templates with the front-end product is only 30. And because that includes different niches, there wasn’t always one that I wanted to use. I would have to pick the best choice at the time and do more editing to make it fit the video topic.

This is where upgrade #3 is needed. I know this is how the creators make their money, but really? Only 30 templates to choose from?

Other than that, I really enjoy Thumbnail Blaster.

I usually did all my thumbnails in Canva, which is another great and free online tool. But unless you enjoy creating images from scratch, it might be frustrating to create something that looks professional.

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

I believe this tool is great for pumping out many new thumbnails for your already existing videos.

Of course, that’s if you think they need improving, lol.

If you find that some of your videos are getting low views or poor ranking, it could very well be because of your thumbnails. It’s more important than you may realize.

Think about when you’re looking for a certain video to watch. Aren’t you more attracted to those thumbnails that stand out? I know I do!

Personally, I love creating my own images with Photoshop. But that’s the artist in me… If you don’t own that kind of software, or have difficulty coming up with your own ideas, then this tool is a big advantage for you.

Thumbnail Blaster is great for creating those eye-popping thumbnails that will get the most attention. All you do is choose a template, make a few edits, and publish! It’s that easy!
