Who Is This Software For?
This software would be best used by affiliate marketers who wish to do mass video recording and not concerned about the best quality.
The software works as it’s designed, but because it takes random images of any articles you choose to upload, your end result depends on the quality of the article in the first place.
Because the purpose of this software is to create “Content” videos, you’ll want to choose articles that have great images to make the nicest looking videos.
How Does It Work?
This software will turn any web page into content videos in 3 clicks. Wow! That would be awesome if true, eh?
Let’s see what else the sales page says…
They claim that all you have to do is copy, paste, click, and create free traffic and sales. Free traffic for 5 years?
I guess their own content videos that they created in 2015 are still bringing in traffic!
As the “New King” of content, you don’t need to know anything about creating videos. And that’s great because you’d need:
- To create the original content that you need to add to the video.
- Some sort of software program to create the video.
- To add your own voice over.
- To manually share it on YouTube and social media.
But what if all you had to do is copy a page link from any website to create a fully formatted video with images, text and a voice-over in just minutes…
VidInc’s software offers these exclusive features:
- Convert any URL into a fully formatted content video.
- Built-in “Text to Voice” technology.
- Using Google Translate, you can convert your video in any language.
- Add custom video intros and outros.
- Add images using Pixabay integration.
- Upload your videos directly to YouTube.
- Use the “Spintax System” to spin additional and different videos from the original URL.
The owners say it’s simple to do and will drive traffic and commissions for your business. It can all be done in 5 simple steps.
Step #1: Go to Clickbank and find a popular product that you want to promote. Get your affiliate link. (You don’t need to get approval for most Clickbank products).
Step #2: Find an article online that’s relevant to your product.
Step #3: Copy the article’s URL and add it to VidInc so it can convert it into a video. Add your own intro and outro if you wish. Make sure your affiliate link is included in your content!
Step #4: Upload your completed video directly to your YouTube channel and social media accounts.
Step #5: Rinse and repeat by using the Spintax system, so you can upload more than one version of the same video. All will have different titles and descriptions to make them unique.
Ok, this sounds promising so far. Let’s see if the product actually delivers…
Once you get access to your dashboard, it will look like this…
You’ll notice they recommend you use Firefox, as that’s the browser that allows this software to work best.
The first thing you should do is go through the training videos:
- Full Demo (All The Features)
- Site Creator
- Video Editor
- Video Rebrander
These training videos will get you acquainted with the software and are always available if you get stuck.
After you have found the article you wish to turn into a video, copy/paste the URL into the system and submit. This will take a few minutes as the software analyzes and takes screenshots of the website or page.
These screenshots are what the software is going to take to create your video.
Once it’s done, it will bring up a page like this…
Now, you need to add your title. Once done, click on “next” and you’ll be brought to the next page which shows you all the screenshots the software took.
Sometimes, the images it takes look strange, so you simply have to deselect the ones you don’t want to be added!
If you scroll down, you will see the text it took from the page. You can highlight what you wish to use, or you can go back to the original page and copy the text you want to use from there.
Now all you do is paste it into the “Text for Audio box.
What they don’t tell you upfront, is that you can only use up to 400 words with the basic versions.
Scroll down a little more and you will see the choices you have to choose from for your voice over…
Be careful that you didn’t go over that 400-word count or the audio will simply cut off at that point!
By clicking on “Audio Preview” you can hear what each voice sounds like. There is also a choice of languages you can choose from for a larger audience reach if you purchase the Pro version.
Personally, I prefer to use my own voice, lol. It doesn’t sound so mechanical!
The last step is to add an intro and outro is you want them. This is optional.
You can upload your own intro/outro videos, upload an image, and add your own voice over if you wish.
When you’re satisfied with your additions, click on “Submit”. The software will begin to finalize your video.
This step can take about 10 minutes or more, but when it’s done, it will show up in the “list” tab.
This section allows you to upload any videos you’ve already added to the “Gallery” below, and add more edits.
It brings you to the “rebrander” page, to perform all these edits.
You can pull up videos by selecting either a:
- Website URL
- Youtube URL
- Youtube CC (creative commons) URL
It will show you all the available videos to choose from. When you’ve chosen what you want, you can continue to do more editing.
Your first step would be to add any intros or outros, like the image above.
Step 2 is the Pro version upsell and would allow you to add more detailed edits, like a watermark and adding a lower third section to add text…
Step 3 is to submit your details and let the system create your video. All of these steps are optional.
This is where you can upload one, or multiple videos to your Youtube channel. This is done in 3 steps:
- Add your video data – THis is where you add your video title, description, affiliate link, and tags.
- Add your schedule settings – You need to choose your channel name, category, date & time, and time zone.
- Video & social network configurations – Here is where you select the video, add your thumbnail image, and choose the social networks you want to share to.
Image Editor (Upsell)
This editor allows you to upload and edit your images…
This is where you can see all of your downloaded and created images, videos, and audio selections.
JVZoo/Warrior Plus/Clickbank (Upsell)
These sections allow you to search for products by keyword.
When it brings up the products available, you can look at the various filtering options that each platform offers.
If you’re a beginner to affiliate marketing, you’re best to use Clickbank. Most of the products there don’t need affiliate approval from the product owners.
These are the backlinks (lists of places you shared) for each of your videos.
You only need to use this section once, to add all of your accounts.
You can add multiple Youtube accounts as well as a:
- Twitter account
- Pinterest account
- Tumblr account
If you’d like to create a new campaign for any of the 3 social media networks, you can do this here.
Just like creating a video, the system walks you through each needed step.
OTO #1: VidInc PRO
This upgrade allows you unlimited video creations, compared to the 30 per month you get with the front end product. You will also be able to upload unlimited text versus the limited 400 words with the basic system.
You’ll also get access to all the extra languages, extra editing options like logos, bookmarks, lower thirds, etc.
The Image Editor Suite is great for creating your own thumbnails as well as the option to schedule re-posting on your choice of future dates.
OTO #2: VidInc EXPERT
With this upsell, you have access to the top 3 affiliate networks, directly from your dashboard. Each platform has it’s own versions of filters and stats, to make your choices quickly and easily.
You will also receive multiple DFY (done for you) videos from evergreen bestselling products. And all of these come with guaranteed approval.
OTO #3: VidInc TRAFFIC
With this upgrade, you have the ability to tap into their own traffic sources for a minimum of 12 months. This will give you the ability to find targeted traffic for your own promotions.
OTO #4: VidInc AGENCY
With this license, you can sell VidInc as an affiliate, and keep 85% of the profits.
You will also get a DFY business in a box. You’ll get:
- Traffic Training
- Sales video
- Pages and promotional material
I have a few concerns about this product. Not the software itself, but other considerations I believe you should know…
Concern #1 – No Upfront Transparency
This bugs me to no end!! I hate it when they’re not upfront about what you actually get if you only want the initial product with no upsells.
I know this is how these product creators make more money, but they can still be honest!
You only discover how limiting the front end product is when you take the time to read through every upsell page. And in this case, there are 7 pages in total.
Many of the details they talk about in the demo video are only added if you purchase the pro version for another $67.
But they don’t tell you this. And you’re left assuming that you’ll get all that he shows you. But you don’t!
The biggest difference, that makes a huge difference to the types of videos you can create, is the number of words you can use, let alone that you can only create 30 videos per month.
Nowhere on the sales page does it say you can only copy/paste up to 400 words or make only 30 videos per month!!
Also know that if you accidentally use more than 400 words, the audio will automatically cut off at 400.
Concern #2 – Video Quality
I’m not talking about the video itself. I’m talking about content quality.
When you insert your URL, the software takes random screenshots of the article. Needless to say, some of these look pretty ridiculous. So you will need to take time to go through them and choose what you think looks best.
Because of this, I wouldn’t use this software for anything other than mass video production of products that sell themselves despite the video.
For example, you could look for the best selling items on Amazon, and then look for detailed product reviews online.
When you find a good one (with great images), upload it to create your video. Then use the SpinTax system to create even more videos of the same review article.
If you upload a few videos every day, you’ll see your keyword (title) start to rank higher over time.
This, of course, requires the pro version so you can create unlimited videos each month!
Concern #3 – Legal? Ethical?
This is an area I struggle with. If you’re using “Creative Commons” videos, yes it’s legal to use them as your own. That’s specifically stated in YouTube’s terms and conditions.
Its the use of other people’s articles and reviews that concern me.
How would you feel if someone took all your hard work of writing an article for someone to simply take your URL and use it as their own video text?
Is this legal? Is it ethical? It’s at least considered duplication, right?
Concern #4 – Traffic
All these sorts of products claim you’ll get tons of free traffic. And you might, eventually…
But unless you have a YouTube channel with a huge following or social media accounts with the same, your traffic won’t appear overnight.
It takes time to rank on Youtube. This is where uploading many videos will help, but it still takes time.
And what about your social media accounts? Do your followers appreciate these kinds of ads on their walls? Are they friends and family or interested buyers?
If you’re a beginner, I would concentrate on Youtube, because it’s the second largest search engine used, and you could build up a targeted audience.
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Software is easy to use
- Will create videos from any URL
- Sales page leaves out important information
- Need the first upsell for full use of the software
- Takes time to build up traffic
- Poor content quality videos
Final Thoughts And Recommendations
This software works ok according to what it’s supposed to do, but other than that, it will take a lot of editing to create anything of real quality.
I believe this would be useful for those marketers who are interested in mass video production, but not necessarily concerned about quality.
If that’s the case, then yes, this will work for you. But I don’t believe it’s something a beginner to the affiliate marketing industry should start.
