Who Is This System For?

what is the eclipse review

Eclipse is for anyone who wants to learn how to make affiliate commissions using video advertising on YouTube. Jono Armstrong will show you three different methods to do this, from easy to advanced.

I believe you’re getting great value for your initial price of $12.95.

Please be aware that you will need additional services and tools to make all this work well for you. So that means an additional monthly cost.

And because this strategy involves paid advertising, you will need an advertising budget with upfront funds available. This advertising relies on “clicks” to your offers. These clicks will cost a certain amount per, regardless if you sell anything.

The advantage is that Jono will show you how to keep these costs down.

As always, I recommend you only purchase the upfront product until you’ve tested it out and see if you like it. The upsells are available in your member area if you’d like to purchase any of these afterwards.

I’ve reviewed other products by these two gentlemen, and some I like, some are so-so.  They seem to have something new come out each month or more…

A few of their other products I’ve reviewed are:

How Does It Work?

expensive oto's

So they say this is 100% legal “theft”, lol. Does that really entice people? Thinking you’re getting away with something?

Let’s see what the sales page says…

Sales Page

It starts off saying no one can stop you from doing this, and it’s your turn for payback! The gurus have had their time of making good money. Now it’s your turn.

Then it attempts to tell you that nobody knows this exists!

OK, just so you know upfront… That’s a big fat lie!

There are NO unknown affiliate strategies, haha! They just want to get your attention!

Eclipse is supposedly a “hack” that gets real eyeballs in front of your offers in as little as 5 minutes.

Then it says you’ll have a source of passive income within 30 minutes of getting inside the member’s area.

Those are bold statements…

You know, you have to be skeptical when you read statements like:

  • You are privately hijacking the guru’s business without them knowing it.
  • This is a secret method that absolutely nobody knows about.
  • You’re secretly stealing and the gurus won’t even know what’s going on.
  • No one can stop you from doing it over and over again.

And after all that, they never tell you what it is!

Lots of hype, but no details. That’s just aggravating. But I guess it’s one way to get you to click the “buy now” button…

Let’s see if it lives up to its promises…

Member Area/Dashboard

As usual, you’ll be presented with all the upsells before finalizing your purchase.

I never recommend you buy any of these until you test out the front end product. Even though they’ll often tell you that you only get this one chance, it’s never true.

You’ll be able to access the upsells within the member area.

Once your inside, you’ll be learning how to use Google Ads to run on these guru’s videos. This is a commonly used technique, and certainly not something “unknown”, LOL.

training course member area

The Welcome & Overview videos are the first two for you to watch in the member area.

In the Toolbox, there’s another video, and links to:

  • GetResponse which is your email capture service and autoresponder.
  • Commission Gorilla is a funnel page builder (much cheaper than Clickfunnels…)

It’s important to know that there will be additional monthly or annual charges for the use of these tools. These are necessary to perform this marketing strategy.

The Training

Method #1 – Easy

This is a method used if you don’t want to make your own videos. Or maybe you’re too shy to put yourself in front of a camera?

The easy method will show you how to use other people’s videos, to promote “evergreen” products on Clickbank. You don’t even need to be approved for these products.

Method #2 – Intermediate

This method will show you how to promote products from JVZoo and WarriorPlus, using the product’s demo videos and bonus pages.

This is another way to NOT have to make your own or put your face in the video.

Method #3 – Advanced

This method will show you how to make a review video and targeting Guru’s YouTube channels.

These gurus are making their own reviews, so by adding your teaser ad (about the same product) in front of their video, you’re hoping the visitor will want to see your review instead of the gurus.

Does that make sense? lol. This is how you hijack his traffic. Just make sure your video ad is way more enticing to convince the viewer to click on yours instead!

Jono will also be showing you how to use Facebook bots and an email list. With retargeting and remarketing, you’ll be able to bring your cost per click right down.

The “guru” here is simply someone who is ranking high on YouTube!

When someone has a high ranking video, that means they’re coming up in the top positions of a Google search.

This, in turn, means that they are getting the lion’s share of the traffic!

So in order to leverage their large subscription list and their high traffic numbers, you’ll be making a short video ad to place in front of their video.

Have you ever been on YouTube and notice the ads that will run before the video starts?

You usually have the option of click on “skip video”, or it will say it’ll end in 5 seconds or so?

hijacking traffic

These are the video ads I’m talking about. If you can entice his audience to click on your ad, then you have the potential to make a sale.

Please remember that you’ll be paying advertising fees for this method.

It works the same as Google ads on the search engine pages, but on YouTube. You’ll be paying so much per click, regardless of any sales made.

Upsell #2 could be a big advantage in keeping your costs down.

It will cost you an additional $197, but you’ll have access to Jono and Brendan’s tracking data, which is to very targeted traffic. This means the traffic is highly interested in purchasing these types of products.

Bonuses

#1: Advanced Eclipse Strategies

This is advanced training that they were considering selling for over $70, but decided to include it as part of your purchase. Ya right…

But any additional training is a good thing, right?

#2: Eclipse Hacks

This provided you with additional tips and tricks for their method.

#3: Stealthd

This was actually an individual course they launched in April 2019. It’s all about email marketing.

So why is it included here? I don’t know but I suspect it didn’t sell well…

#4: The Fuego Breakout

This is about channelling your traffic to high-ticket offers.

Upsells

See what I mean about them being usually offered in the member area? lol

oto is available inside

#1: Done For You Campaigns

This upsell will provide you with at least 2 done for you campaigns per week, for 1 full year (365 days). Jono will include a review video, video ads, a bonus page, and emails.

And these campaigns will all be for up-coming launches from the time you signed up.

#2: Steal Our 3.8 Million List

This will allow you to put your tracking pixels on Jono and Brendan’s sales pages and take advantage of their many visitors. You’ll be able to keep all the tracking data to use for your own promotions.

All of this data will help keep your ad spend down to about $.10 per click for Adwords because this audience is very targeted.

#3: $1K Daily Hack

This is another done for you solution. You can use their video ads and targeting to their own high ticket offer, which pays out $1000 commissions per sale.

This is their “Project Profit Academy”, which is a high-ticket product costing $2,000.

#4: Eclipse Outsourcer

This is a collection of over 30 monetizable channels that you can use to send your offers on.

Instead of searching manually for these, it’s all provided in one place for you.

#5: License Rights

This license gives you the rights to sell Eclipse as your own and keep 100% of the profits.

My Concerns

concerns about upfront costs

I believe you’re getting a lot of value in the training for only $12.50.

But there are still some concerns…

#1: Upfront Costs

If you’re new to affiliate marketing, you probably don’t have an email capture service or other needed tools yet. And as you can see above, you’ll need these if you plan on pursuing this method.

Any strategy that involves paid advertising will need an advertising budget. You’ll be paying a certain cost per click regardless of making any sales.

The hope, of course, is to make sales that cover these costs, but you should always be prepared to spend some money upfront, just in case.

#2: Funnel Builder

The product he’s recommending is Commission Gorilla. I hadn’t heard of this service before, so I can’t comment too much.

The pros are that it’s much cheaper than Clickfunnel’s $97 per month. Commission Gorilla is $199 per year or $16.58 per month.

The cons would be the long-term stability of this product. Because all your landing pages are hosted on their servers, you have no control if they should suddenly shut down.

This is less likely to happen with a proven system like Clickfunnels.

You will also have to be careful to follow Youtube’s terms of service.  All pages must be approved before publishing.

#3:  Competition

This is a real way to make some extra cash, but there’ll be a lot of competition, so the AdWords could still get expensive, even with Jono’s training.

#4:  Saturation

Many of the Youtube channels won’t allow advertising on their videos, so finding those that do will be difficult.

And I suspect this type of advertising will get saturated, and more difficult to compete (which hikes us your cost per click).

Pros

  • Low cost
  • 30-day money-back guarantee
  • Detailed training videos
  • Learn other methods like email marketing, messenger marketing

Cons

  • 3rd party services needed
  • Upfront advertising budget to spend
  • Not a long-term leveraged strategy
  • A little “techy” for beginners
  • Expensive upsells

Final Thoughts And Recommendations

i recommend wealthy affiliate

For the low cost of $12.95, I believe the training you get is more than worth the price. Even if you don’t decide to use it right away, it’s something in your toolbox for down the road.

But please hold off on any upsells until you see if you can make a go of this strategy!

Taking the route of paid advertising is always risky. It takes money upfront, to make more money.

So if you can get training from people who are very experienced, like Jono Armstrong, you’ll be much farther ahead.

He’s showing you how you can do this with as least pain as possible, lol. What I mean is that you don’t have to be a professional video editor. He shows you ways of using other people’s videos as your own.

And for beginners who don’t want their faces or voices onscreen, this is a great way to start.

Is Eclipse a scam?    No

Would I recommend it?    Yes

Is this something you think you’d like to do to earn money online? Or would you be interested in learning other methods that wouldn’t cost you anything upfront?

This is just one affiliate marketing method, but it’s not something you can build for long-term sustainability.

For that, you need to create a website and start branding yourself to draw in loyal and repeat customers.  And you can start by driving free traffic to your site.

It doesn’t have to be in the MMO (make money online) niche either. It could be in something else your interested in or experienced in.

Can I make you my honest recommendation?

I would love for you to come and see where I learned everything about online marketing.

This platform has all the training, tools, and support you need under one roof. No 3rd party services needed.

And the best part… you can create a starter membership for FREE. No credit card necessary.

If you click on the button below, you can read all about it. And when you join, I’ll greet you on the inside and help you along for as long as you wish.

So what do you think about Eclipse? Is it something you think you’d enjoy trying? I do believe it will work, but remember, there are additional costs.

If you have any questions or comments, leave them below and I’ll get right back to you.

Cheers,

Suzanne
